Spacious four‑bedroom property for up to six people, right in the heart of Port Erin. In the center of Port Erin Look for the green door with “Versa” written on the side, right next to the health‑food shop. Address: Thie Purt Glass, 15 Station Road, Port Erin, IM9 6AE. Parking: You can park at the back on the service road and use the back door. It’s on a first‑come, first‑served basis, but it’s usually empty from around 5:30 pm. There is also plenty of unrestricted parking at the front of the property until 9:00 am. In addition, there is unrestricted all day beachfront parking at the end of the road. Heating & Hot Water We do try to ensure the hot water is on before you arrive, but depending on timing there may be occasions when you’ll need to switch it on yourself. It’s worth giving it a quick check when you get in. Please set the heating to ‘Auto’ for both the hot water and the radiators using the SET button inside the controller flap (located by the back door). As the system uses a heat store, it can take around 30 minutes to warm up the first time. The heating and hot water are set on a timer to come on early in the morning and again around 5 p.m. for several hours. If hot water is needed outside these times, there’s a boost button located by the back kitchen door, along with an explanation of how to use it. As the wood heats up on the cast iron, it releases smoke that perfumes the food—common for salmon or vegetables.
