Do I need a website to use this?▼
No. Daylet gives you a standalone booking page you can share via email, WhatsApp, or social media. If you do have a cottage website, you can embed the booking calendar as a widget or add a floating 'Book Now' button. Developers can also integrate via Daylet's REST API.
How are payments handled?▼
Pro users can connect their Stripe account and collect payment at booking — guests pay by card at checkout and money goes directly to your bank account. Daylet takes no commission on payments. Free plan users arrange payment directly with guests.
What if I get a booking on Airbnb and Daylet at the same time?▼
Because iCal syncs every few hours (not instantly), there's a small risk of overlap. The safest workflow: (1) manually block dates immediately after confirming a booking, and (2) use booking request approval (not instant booking) to give yourself time to check availability.
