Frequently asked questions

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes, you can upgrade to Pro or downgrade to Free at any time.

Are there any commission fees?

No, Daylet takes no commission on bookings or guest payments. You keep 100% of your revenue (Stripe's standard ~1.5% card processing fee applies when using guest payments).

How do guest payments work?

Pro owners connect their Stripe account from the dashboard (takes ~2 minutes). Once enabled, guests are redirected to Stripe's secure hosted checkout at booking. Payment goes directly to your bank — Daylet never holds funds.

What happens if I exceed 5 bookings on the free plan?

You'll need to upgrade to Pro to continue accepting bookings. Your existing bookings remain accessible.

How does unit-based pricing work?

Pro includes 3 bookable units. A property counts as 1 unit, or — if you switch a property to rooms mode — 1 unit per room. Extra units beyond 3 are billed at £4/mo each (up to 20 total units), then £3/mo each beyond that.
