Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 August 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Daylet. By creating an account or using Daylet, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Using Daylet

Daylet provides property owners with tools for direct booking pages, availability, booking management, integrations, and related services. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Tell Daylet promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Properties, bookings, and guests

You may use Daylet only for properties that you own, manage, or are authorised to act for. You are responsible for your property information, prices, availability, booking rules, taxes, licences, insurance, and compliance with laws that apply to your holiday let.

A booking made through Daylet is an arrangement between you and the guest. Daylet provides the booking technology but is not the property owner, guest, travel agent, or party to the stay. You are responsible for resolving disputes with guests and for delivering the stay as described.

Payments and plans

Some Daylet features require a paid plan. Current prices, billing periods, plan limits, and included features are shown on the pricing page or during checkout. Payments may be processed by Stripe under its own terms.

You may cancel a paid subscription through the billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the checkout or applicable law states otherwise. Fees already paid are not refundable except where required by law.

Connected services and calendar imports

You may connect Daylet to services such as Stripe, calendar providers, website embeds, APIs, ChatGPT, or Claude. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Daylet is not responsible for a third-party service, its availability, or changes it makes.

Calendar imports and exports depend on third-party refresh schedules. You must check important dates and booking changes rather than relying on an import as an immediate or complete record.

AI assistants and MCP

If you connect Daylet to an AI assistant through MCP, the assistant may read account information and call Daylet tools on your behalf according to the access you approve. This can include guest personal data and actions that change availability or booking status.

AI-generated summaries and suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. Review dates, guest details, prices, and the effect of any proposed action before approving or relying on it. You remain responsible for instructions you give, actions taken through your connected assistant, and lawful handling of guest information.

Daylet does not control how OpenAI, Anthropic, or another assistant provider stores or uses information after receiving it. Remove the connection in the assistant’s settings to stop future access, and use the provider’s data controls for information already sent to it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Daylet to break the law, mislead guests, access another person’s account or property, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, test security without written permission, scrape the service, or resell access unless Daylet has agreed in writing.

Do not use Daylet or a connected assistant to expose guest information unnecessarily, send unlawful or unwanted communications, discriminate unlawfully, or make decisions that require human judgement without appropriate review.

Your content

You keep ownership of property descriptions, photos, booking information, and other content you provide. You give Daylet permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to provide that content, including guest personal data.

Availability and changes

Daylet aims to keep the service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security work, internet failures, and third-party outages may affect access.

Daylet may change or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. Material changes that adversely affect paid use will be communicated where practicable.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Daylet at any time. Daylet may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or address unpaid fees or a material breach of these terms.

When an account ends, access to its data may stop. Export information you need before closing your account. Data is retained or deleted in line with the Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Daylet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost bookings, third-party service failures, or a decision made from AI-generated output.

Daylet’s total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid Daylet during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not affect mandatory consumer rights or liability that applicable law does not allow Daylet to limit.

Changes and applicable law

Daylet may update these terms to reflect service, legal, or security changes. The updated terms and date will be published here. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably possible. Continuing to use Daylet after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the law that applies to the Daylet operator, subject to any mandatory protections and rights you have under the law where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes.
